Stonewall Chico Pride Weekend is the largest LGBTQIA2S+ event between Sacramento and the Oregon border, and one of the biggest annual festivals in the Butte County area. It's a celebration of diversity; uniting, strengthening and affirming the LGBTQIA2S+ Community and our allies. With 4 days packed full of events for all ages, interests, identities and walks of life, Chico Pride pulls in between 5,000 and 7,000 attendees each year.
Our Pride events take place all over Chico, CA- including an enormous downtown festival in the city plaza, DJ’d dance nights for adults and for teens, a spectacular live performance showcase, a catered brunch in Bidwell Park, a queer /racial justice intersectional art event, an all-queer comedy show, drag and dance parties, pre-pride benefit events, and more.

All proceeds from Stonewall Chico Pride go directly toward funding Stonewall Alliance’s public programs including Free & Confidential STD Testing, Cultural Competency & Stigma Reduction Trainings, Counseling services, Social and Support Groups for Children and Adults, Advocacy in finding Competent Health & Legal Care, and more. Stonewall Alliance is the only nonprofit LGBTQIA2S+ center in our area, and these services are deeply important to our community. Sponsorships and revenue from Chico Pride help keep our doors open.  

We take responsibility seriously at Chico Pride. Our sponsors help us center intersectional justice, accessibility for people of all abilities, and environmental stewardship/ waste reduction.
